September Check-In

This starter-level guide walks students through programming a CodeX or CodeBot to serve as a personal ‘status updater’ for the classroom. Students assign colors to different moods or academic signals, such as “I’ve got it!” or “I need help!” which they can then communicate to their teacher with a quick, silent button press. It’s an engaging project that introduces basic coding while empowering students to express themselves.

Stay tuned for full project details in the Firia Labs Learning Portal, and join the conversation in the Code Collective to tell us how your students did!
